Everybody loves a good underdog story and this is it. This one has masala potboiler written all over it.
The trailer gives a complete chronological glimpse of what we can expect in the film. It will play the emotional card and have many moments depicting the ups and downs of a team that ‘no one believed in,’ but ended up lifting the #worldcup, no less, in 1983. A gloriously moment for the country that we cherish.
So, we know what’s gonna happen only how it happened remains to be seen and that’s where a good director comes in. #kabirkhan has given many hits but to me #bajrangibhaijan was the only film of his that I truly enjoyed.
If this one is taut and crisp in edit with less stereotypes and more conviction in the characters then it will send cash registers ringing.
Already, I feel #ranveersingh is forcefully made to look like #kapildev and #deepikapadukone’s wig is distracting.
But what are your thoughts?
