Kangana’s Insta Stories Could Land Her in Big Trouble This Time

It’s just another day for Kangana Ranaut. An FIR has been filed against the actress and this time by the members of the Sikh Community for allegedly hurting their religious sentiments by making derogatory statements through her Instagram profile.

The FIR was filed by 47 year old Amarjeet-singh Sandhu, along with leaders of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and one of India’s oldest political parties, the Shiromani Akali Dal of Punjab. As per a complaint on Sunday, November 21, they came across a post on Kangana’s Insta profile written in English and Hindi. This was just hours after the news of the BJP government repealing the 3 farm laws that the farmers were protesting against since over a year now.

The post, including the translation of her Hindi sentences read, “Khalistani Terrorist may be arm-twisting the government today…but let’s not forget the woman prime minister had crushed them under her shoe…no matter how much suffering she caused to this nation…she crushed them like mosquitoes, at the cost of her own life…but did not allow the country to break into pieces…even decades after her death…they still shiver on hearing her name…they need gurus like her.”

The FIR states that these statements have insulted Sikh religion, Sikh faith and their beliefs. Delhi’s Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee told The Indian Express that Kangana Ranaut had intentionally and deliberately portrayed the Kisan Morcha as a Khalistani movement and also dubbed the Sikh community as Khalistani terrorists. The Khalistan movement is a Sikh separatist movement seeking to create a homeland for Sikhs by establishing a sovereign state.

The official complaint against her said that she had recalled the massacre and genocide that happened during 1984 and earlier, which was a planned and calculated move on the part of then prime minister Indira Gandhi.

Interestingly, Kangana Ranaut announced in June this year that she will be playing the role of Indira Gandhi and also directing this upcoming political drama based on her life called ‘Emergency’.

Indira Gandhi was assassinated on October 31st, 1984 at her residence in New Delhi by her Sikh bodyguards.

A senior police inspector from Mumbai’s Khar police station confirmed that they have registered an FIR under Section 295A for Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious sentiments against Kangana. He said, “We are investigating the matter further.”

But there’s more trouble for Kangana – The Indian Youth Congress has also filed a complaint at Parliament Street police station in Delhi against her on Saturday, for allegedly making what they called “seditious” remarks on social media.

Their complaint read, “Kangana Ranaut is a renowned actress and has a huge fan following of more than 7.8 million people on Instagram. Therefore, her intentional, irresponsible, and seditious posts have the ability to excite hatred, contempt and disaffection towards the Republic of India.” Btw just a correction, her instagram follower count is now 7.9 million. According to a senior police officer, this FIR against Kangana has been registered under IPC sections 124A which is for sedition – a very serious charge in India, attracting a punishment of a lifetime in jail, if proven. She has also been booked under section 504 for intentional insult, with intent to provoke breach of the peace and section 505 for making statements, leading to public mischief.

This complaint also alleged that Kangana has recently equated the country’s freedom, gained in 1947, to ‘begging’ and also made derogatory claims about freedom fighters and leaders of India’s national independence movement.

Delhi police has registered the complaint and said they are enquiring into it.

Kangana Ranaut, who is a four-time national award winner is seen as a staunch supporter of the Narendra Modi government and a number of police complaints filed against her so far in various states of India. She is often in the news for her bold statements on social media. Recently, she recieved her Padma Shri award from the president of India but after her recent statements, following the repeal of the 3 farm laws, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara, has written to the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, appealing that her Padma Shri be withdrawn.

But what is not withdrawn yet is the full 40% off on the ‘It Really Works Vitamins for Hair.’ These are the vitamins that I ordered after researching on the internet and going through hundreds of positive comments, online. My hair, especially from the crown area, was thinning and disappearing faster than politicians disappear after making poll promises, but unlike them, the volume of my hair did return…within just 2 to 3 months after I started using the ‘It Really Works Vitamins’ and I have been using them since.

Whether you’re a man or a woman, all you have to do is take 2 pills of these vitamins, daily with a full glass of water, preferrably after meals. It’s that easy and effective. So, if you need it, then click on the link in the description, to order your supply for a full 40% less. But if not then ignore this little push just like Kangana Ranaut ignores the FIRs against her.
