The #PadmanChallenge is the most ridiculous, mindless, stupid and pointless marketing gimmick that is making celebs pose with a pad – yes there is nothing to be ashamed about it but it’s not a thing to flaunt either certainly not for a film that seems to have been made after 2 pages of Google research like most Akshay Kumar films.

Instead of tagging random celebs and making them stand in this forced solidarity for ticket sake, why not market it with your heart in the right place?

Go sensitise women in rural areas, earmark a part of your profits toward providing them free sanitary pads or any such basic comfort, open a school or do something for their upliftment.
NO – take the easy route via twitter and get the pre-release publicity
FYI – the women who don’t have sanitary pads aren’t on Twitter either!
