Boys in Action!

Sajid Nadiadwala – Bollywood’s man with the Midas Touch – Whatever he touches turns into Gold. His latest offering is Dhishoom starring John Abraham, Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandes and Akshaye Khanna in a villanous comeback, and directed by Rohit Dhawan – a lethal package, but does Dhishoom have what it takes to beat the box office odds

Dhishoom is the story of 2 top cops one from India and the other from Pakistan who embark on a massive 36 hour man-hunt for India’s top batsman who goes missing under suspicious circumstances just before the all important Indo-Pak match. What follows is a roller coaster ride with all elements of a slick entertainer that serves up a total paisa vasool platter of action adventure comedy music and thankfully no drama!

As a director Rohit is a lot like papa David Dhawan who keeps entertainment at the very epicentre of his films, but the son’s style is more urbane and youth centric.

Dhishoom’s ace is its solid pace that does keeps its audience on the edge, especially with so many stars that keep.coming in for cameos. For starters there is a cute little pop in by Akshay Kumar as a pansy gay man who manages to get the two boys down in their undies for some eye candy!

Then there is Nargis Fakhri and Parineeti Chopra for wel, some more eye candy. A special . mention for Saqib Saleem for playing the kidnapped cricketer and holding onto his own amongst so many stars.

Dhishoom is a good looking stylish masala entertainer with time tested formula that may have a lot less logic but a wholesome dose of entertainmet

Overall, Dhishoom is a film that caters to audience across all segments… that lives up to its promise

I am going with 3 and a half stars!
